It’s that time of the year again. Yurana is once again hosting a free Xmas lunch for families staying with us over the holiday as well as anyone who may otherwise be spending that day on their own. Anyone who would like to come to the Mollymook Surf-club on Dec.25th at around 11am and enjoy Xmas with some good company, good food and maybe a small present, please give our volunteers a call on 0244541700 on Mondays or Thursdays between 10am-12noon to book a place.
The Batemans Bay Gamefishing club have once again excelled themselves by putting on another wonderful day for Yurana Families, as well as Yurana volunteers on the Clyde River on their boats and afterwards at the Batemans Bay caravan park for a terrific BBQ and a heap of amusements.
Yurana is most grateful for their continuing support and the associated sponsors for helping out on the day. Yurana guests should put their names down early for next years fun-day, as accommodation is limited. We will be publishing the date as soon as it becomes available.

The trading day on Saturday of the Queens Birthday weekend was a resounding success with a great roll-up of visitors to the great amount of craft goods and food on offer. Many thanks to all our volunteers who helped out on the day. Yurana will certainly have another one this year.
Yurana Cancer Kids once again has hosted an Australias Biggest Morning Tea. This year the theme was oriental and the decorations and attire was excellent and a credit to Maggie and all of the other volunteers. All of the guests were most satisfied with the great variety of food and raffle prizes. Lets hope that they will all come again next year.
Yurana’s president for the last couple of years, Roy Lombardo has resigned from Yurana to move closer to his family. Roy has been an excellent president and never failed to give his all to our charity. His health has deteriorated of late and he currently is still in Nowra Hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery and our thoughts are with him and wife Gloria.
On a happier note Yurana’s Holiday homes are fully booked for the Easter holidays and Ulladulla will be a great place for our guests to relax and unwind. The Blessing of the Fleet and all the associated attractions will certainly entertain and amuse those families staying with us.
Families wishing to book a home for the June holidays would be well advised to book early as places are limited.
May 13th will see Yurana volunteers hosting Australias Biggest Morning Tea at Ambers House 25 McKail St. This should be another great day with this years theme being Asian orientated. More details soon
