The guys associated with the Batemans Bay Game-fishing Club have once again excelled at showing our families a simply wonderful time at the Bay and afterwards at Nelligen Caravan Park. Those people are so generous with their time and cost associated in staging such an event. Yurana volunteers wish to thank all those sponsors and people who helped make this another great day to remember for all those kids who are not as fortunate as we are. Once again the boys from the Batemans Bay Game-fishing Club are hosting the great day out on the Clyde River, this year the water-bomb fights will be restricted to kids less than 12 years old, all other activities are still being held for all and sundry. If you think you’d like to come along on Saturday 19th November for a free day out and you can make it to Batemans Bay by 9:30am and enjoy boat-rides, BBQ, heaps of games at the Nelligen C’van Park, ice-creams and heaps of fun and you have a sick child with a serious illness, why not call Yurana 02 44541700 either on Monday or Thursday between 10am and noon or call anytime and leave a message and we’ll get back to you asap. Meanwhile we still have some vacancies for the school holiday seasons, so take advantage of a free holiday with no-cost entries to local attractions.

Yurana is currently involved in the viability of extending Luke’s House to provide a better facility with far more space to living and sleeping areas, as well as improved access to doors and bathroom for wheelchair bound guests. In the meantime the home is still being made available over the Xmas Holiday periods.
It’s on again. As usual the Yurana volunteers are once again hosting a free luncheon at the Surf Club for anyone who would otherwise spend Xmas Day on their own. This service is being done by Yurana as a Thank You to the local community for their support throughout the year. Invitation is open to singles or couples or families that may be missing heir friends or families on the day. Not only a good feed but entertainment presents and quite possibly a visit from Santa.
